The annual Commodity Classic gets under way Wednesday morning in Anaheim, Cal., with the National Association of Wheat Growers holding committee meetings while the National Sorghum Producers will hold a board meeting. The National Corn Growers Association will hold their issues briefing and the American Soybean Association will hold resolution subcommittee meetings in the afternoon.
The Classic is being held at a troika of buildings, the Anaheim Convention Center and the Anaheim Hilton (where NAWG and NSP/United Sorghum Checkoff Program will hold meetings) and the Marriott Marquis-Anaheim, where corn and soybean groups will meet. Sessions joining all the groups as well as the trade show will be housed at the ACC.
For those remaining at home, due note that yes, I noticed a bunch of pretty girls swimming in the Hilton's outdoor pool Tuesday night. It was 60 degrees with a gentle Santa Ana wind as I arrived in southern California. Too bad I won't be poolside through this week, as I'll be blogging and tweeting in meeting rooms just for you, the reader.
